Mornings, Windows, and a mouth
2026- work in progress
spoken/sung poems, movement, photo installation, video projection

Mornings, Windows, and a mouth unfolds a temporary world where legibility no longer governs. Poems, written free from the obligation to make sense, become embodied through uncanny spatial settings, songs with broken pronunciation, and feral movements. In this performance, a body that declares itself an uncultured body wakes up, opens a window, recalls dreams, and begins an ordinary morning with a sense of strangeness. Encountering the birth and death of possibilities, it hums mama’s lullaby to itself with curiosity and grief. The performance opens a poetic state where being outside legibility becomes a way of sensing and inhabiting the world.
